Mga bro, help mi daw ky mo pay nata ko sa item na ako paliton, kaso lang la man ang philippines sa list sa pay pal. Unsa-on mani?

@jah, sad to say that the Phils was on the list before but there were really bad transactions consummated between buyers from the Phils (stolen identity, stolen credit cards etc) maybe that was why they removed it from the list as well as most south african countries ie nigeria and some asian countries. a good friend of mine, a power seller, got duped by a Filipino buyer (maybe it was a foreigner pretending to be Filipino / address was in the Phils) using a stolen credit card.

re buying cars on ebay: if you're not into collecting classics, rare (less than a dozen or so produced for a given model), really really really expensive cars then ebay is not for you. if you wanna buy a brand new or second hand sedan (most specifically the latter) it's much better if you buy from "certified" dealers in your neighborhood ie carmax, autotrader, or authorized dealers for a specific brand because "after sales service/warranty is important" on this type of investments. you can use kelley blue book (kbb.com) or edmunds.com to compare brands, models, prices, advices and reviews of cars you want to buy even before you visit the location of the car you've done some research on.

just my opinion, cars are one of those items that you need to look at/inspect with your very own eyes before completing a purchase. it won't even hurt to bring along a friend who knows a little bit of something about cars coz sometimes appearances alone can be very deceiving.

@omad: kuyaw sad bai kay ingon nila ka daghanan daw awto sa ebay gkan pa atong hurricane katrina.. kuyaw sad.. may na before palit car sa ebay i-check sa tanan and knahanglan adto-on jud personal nya tan-awn kung la bay guba. :mrgreen:
