well, sometimes there people who are convinced that generic PSUs are good enough. and this type of people are the ones that most likely learn the lesson the hard way. when they do then that would be the time they will realize that we are just trying to help so that they will not encounter what we have experienced. let them be and let's just wait and see what will happen next.

iv used generic PSU for almost 4 years but didnt encounter any problems that is because its more on surfing lng ko sa pc nko... but now nga medyo ni upgrade ko sa ako rig i made sure nga branded PSU na ako gi butang to be on the safe side
at least u have peace of mind

just besure na branded PSU imo paliton bro....dli trusted ang generic na PSU bro ka pila naku na gub.an ug generic PSU..around 3 nah..dli maau nang generic....600w lage pero it can only generate around 250 or 300w...dli na cya safe sa imo card na 4850 or high end na card...

you need a trusted brand nga psu for that videocard. mid to hi-end naman na imo videocard.
mura ok ra sa mga internet cafe mag generic psu ky dili man hi-end ang gamit sa most internet cafes. ma lugi
ang internet cafes if mag gamit ug hi-end videocards.

not all generic PSUs break easily but also not all branded PSUs are fullproof (i'm referring to individual units).
however, we are fairly unanimous in saying that the chances of generic PSUs breaking is much higher than the branded ones. more often than not, you get what you pay for. especially with cards requiring extra power you must have a reliable PSU...IMO, the PSU is the heart of your unit..don't let it have a heart attack.
