This is where we differs brad. I stand to my bible i did not add anything... I hope bible is your basis, or else we have a different god....

the end we will be saved through our works.
    - this is a lie according to my bible.

    Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast
    Ephesians 2 NIV

it said not by "WORKS!" so that no one can boast... You better think about it brad... I am not imposing this but i am confirming if we have the same God...

so meaning ang imo gibasihan kay ang kawatan/kriminal nga naa sa kilid ni Jesus nga Heart lang wala nay buhat?

    bro ang sitwasyon kay:
    1. gilansang sila
    2. wala nay chance makabuhat kay gilansang man.

so kinahanglan ang nikuha sa nahitabo sa kawatan kinahanglan nga ilansang pud.
og to tell you frankly dili tanang tao makaexperience or makadawat og chance sama sa kawatan.
gipakita sa nahitabo nga sa ingon ato nga sitwasyon naay chance, pero dili tanang panghitabo kay ingon ato.

mao ba ni ang salvation ngadto sa eternal life?
o mao ang salvation towards sin for us to do things for our salvation?

Basaha ang tibuok Ephesians og diha nimo makit-an ang tubag, basa lang ayaw interpret.
    Peace!

brad, that's a very nice story in the bible.. but it only focuses on one scene, particularly the ending scene..

Indeed we have a major difference who God is... Just ask your elders brad... I won't make any argument anymore. At least you stated your interpretation and i stated mine... I do not want to impose I am right or you are right. I just affirming things... Gud luck with it brad.

Many people in this world are spiritually “BLIND”

Many claim that they know “GOD” but only through words!

How many people today are lost? The reality shows “MANY”

It is not because it is their destiny in “LIFE”.

But it is because of “SIN AND EVIL” act of man,

And it is the reason why “DEATH” came and “PUNISHMENT UNTO HELL”

In this reason why many people “SUFFER” blaming God and others…

    “FOOLISHNESS, IGNORANCE, PRIDE AND SELFISHNESS…”

Many people “RELY” on their selves and to the things of this world.

They forgot God the “CREATOR, SPIRIT AND HOLY” who love His creations…

But Man lives on his own way but is “WEAK AND WICKED”

Thank God that He is “ALL-KNOWING, ALMIGHTY AND ALWAYS THERE”

God through History chosen “ISRAELITES” His people,

“JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS TO PAY FOR OUR SINS AND ADOPT HUMANKIND BY HIS BLOOD TO THOSE WHO PUT THEIR FAITH IN HIM (CHRISTIANS)”

Through the guidance and comfort of the “HOLY GHOST”

That God in “THREE PERSONS” and the only One God

God gave His Word- Bible [HIS MESSAGE] through prophets and apostles… so that we must know…

“HOPE” that God is only solution to our problems in our daily living.

“PEACE” within that He gives to His children,

And “LOVE” that even the sinners and most evil people in this world he gives chances.

God is “GOOD BUT GOD ALSO IS JUST TO PUNISH A SINNER”

Question is… why people the people can’t see that, it is because they were deceive by “SATAN” and his doctrine…

“TRADITIONS, RELIGIONS, AND FALSE DOCTRINE/ PRACTICE OF MAN”

“WIDER” is the gate in hell, and narrow is the gate in “HEAVEN”

A true believer and Christian bear “GOOD FRUITS”… follow and obey God…

That is the way that we can “WIN THE SMILE OF GOD AND PLEASED HIM… Let us seek “GOD’ S FACE”

That is “FOR OUR GOOD” and for us to be blessed, but “DISOBIDIENT AND EVIL ACT” bring punishment & cursed.

And in the end “DARKNESS WILL FALL” to hell of lake of fire forever… the Satan, demons, unbelievers, anti- Christ.

Those who “TRUST AND ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST” will reign and with Him forever and ever in Heaven… so let it be, Amen.

brad, i agree faith is necessary for "salvation", but good works/deeds must accompany that faith. its not a mere acknowledgment in words or emotions, it must also show in your attitude and actions.

humans cannot be the judge of a man's heart, only God. but we can sense easily by the way a man acts in kindness even if na-priso na xa..

sa imong example story sa bible, kaklaro ato sa inistoryahan lng daan kung kinsa ang na-usab, ug kinsa ang wala. pero lahi man ni ang balaod gud, kung nakasala na ka, maski unsa-on pa nimo kamaau ug change, u still have to serve your terms of punishment. but it doesn't mean na just because you are serving your terms of punishment you cannot do good deeds in the process..

mao ra na xa brad.. dba faith without good deeds is dead.

imagina lng kung unsa ang life sa katong usa ka prisoner before xa na-execute.. it was not only at that point na mamatay na xa na nag-usab xa sa iyang faith. dili instant faith.. its a long process.

Brad the act of forgiveness is Godly i believe... Of course if you have faith you will do action. therefore action is just an impulse of what you believe, in short supporting act rana...

This is the major difference, people boast how much they have done in thier lifetime, how much good he is, like those philantropist I am not saying they are wrong, they just forget God. They put works on top of God. But of course I appreciate what they did to the least fortunate its no question no doubt it is GOOD. You see the main thing about my DOGMA compared to philantrophist is we go beyond works, we don't credit it to ourself but instead we give it back to him. We keep the joy inside ourself.

Brad About the offense, of course my dogma said obey the laws of the land. Remember this line:
"Give to Caesar what is due to caesar give to God what is due to God". Politics and Religion are two different things don't mix them or else its dangerous. Don't misunderstood forgiveness brad, this is usually the excuse of cult, "Kill in the name of God". They just didn't do it right.

To me brad a Religion without politcs is Clean. Its up to you to judge if you want.

One more thing Protestant Country didn't mix with politics. SWEDEN, NORWAY... and the rest they just obey, but it doesn't mean if they do abortion, they are justified by my God.

    Hope this clarifies things.
