The PirateBay, the world’s most famous torrent tracker and website, has been to sold to Global Gaming Factory X AB (GGF) for an estimated of $8 million dollars. GGF plans to turn The Pirate Bay into a legal sharing entity thus allowing content providers and copyright owners to earn the right amount of “compensation”. Therefore, The Pirate Bay as we know today will cease to exist within the next month or so.
