Why man is drawn to commit sin or evil actions? well he has the FREEDOM oF CHOICE. You cannot know your INNER LIGHT that Jesus spoke about when you don't know about DARKNESS! The LAW OF DUALITY is for us to know its opposite and it doesn't mean that man is evil per se. It just means that man has the CHOICE whether to do GOOD and AVOID EVIL. Man's REAL NATURE however, is not EVIL. The CREATION is TOTALLY GOOD when GOD created man in his image and likeness. It is in not being aware and being forgetful about OUR ESSENCE as GOODand DIVINE that man tends to do things that are opposite with his REAL NATURE.

Have you read Matthew Fox about the DIVINE CREATION? Insted of focusing on man's lower nature which is the ILLUSION of SIN, why not focus on his DIVINITY as Jesus said, YOU ARE gods!

The avalanch of the New age movement got their inspiration from the Theosophical society, but as to how they are making out of themselves right now are totaly their own, like a wild fire on the loose,,its their own self styled mumbo jumbo metaphysics, a far cry to true occultism, a disgrace to the "masters" to be exact.

haha freedom of choice, mutuo ko kung iya ichose ang good but to chose sin NO i dont think so, mao btaw ana ang ginuo no one is free from sin..hehe which only means one thing to chose or not to chose he is bound to do it for some reason..hehe

Here 's the thing to remember. In philosphy, everyhting in ESSENCE is GOOD. Do you know what is the meaning of ESSENCE? I hope you have had your Philosophy way back in college!

Ask your parish priest about the meaning of ESSENCE so that you will be enlightened.

In ESSENCE, EVIL is nothing but an absence of GOOD. Now, IS NATURE EVIL? Is the UNIVERSE EVIL? Is the SOUL and SPIRIT EVIL by nature? You cannot see EVIL in the ultimate sense. Again my point is this: The ESSENCE of MAN is GOOD and not EVIL!

Question: Why did Jesus assert that WE ARE gODS? Why did jesus assert that WE ARE THE SALT OF THE EARTH AND THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD? Was Jesus joking when he said those statments? I don't think so. For Jesus THE Christ asserted the fact that our ESSENCE is basically GOOD and rooted in the DIVINE CREATION!

You got it right my friend! By nature, MAN IS BASICALLY GOOD and when we commit mistakes it doesn't mean that we are evil!

One of the aim of the Theosophical Society is to set man free to seek for himself the Truth unblemished by Fear & ignorance,
And part of that process is Self Transformation, one cant go as far as searching truth if he is still carrying his personal baggage of fears, mistrust, insecurities,superstitions,intolerance,etc.
What hinders an individual is his own shortcomings, hence there is a need to "renew" oneself, a paradigm shift, a leap of faith or a new age movement.
New age movement should be a revolution from w/in, a total rehab so to say of ones world view,
in christianity they call it to be "born again".
