soulmate- a term sometimes used to designate someone with whom one has a feeling of deep affinity, friendship, love, strong intimacy, sexuality, or compatibility.
A related concept is that of the twin flame or twin soul - thought to be the ultimate soulmate, the one and only other half of one's soul, for which all souls are driven to find and join.
However, not everyone who uses these terms intends them to carry such mystical connotations; they are sometimes used simply as an expression of strong emotional feeling for someone.
hai..soulm8??-wud it be the person intended for u?not sure!!
Almost every unmarried from the age 0f 14 has a list : all the things that make the ideal man. the list can be mental or written down, long or short, but most women have some sort of criteria that a man has to meet to be "The One."
A group pf twelve women came up with a list of 46 traits than an ideal man would possess. Intelligence, respectability, honesty, patience, and faithfulness topped the list.
Also important were a sense of humor and the ability to encourage, forgive, and love. Six men also responded with adjectives including consistent, responsible, generous, brave and strong.
The problem most women encounter is how to know whether or not a man really has these qualities. We all put on different faces for different people. Men think they have to be all macho and pretend they are what they aren't. Who is real? Maybe there are better things to look for, things that can be noticed through any mask.
My own list of a few things that would make my ideal ma, in no particular order, Someone who loves God with all his heart, mind and soul. Someone who will want to go fishing with my dad, Someone who will want to lie in bed awake all day on Saturday, Someone who will offer to dry my mom's dishes, Someone who will dance in the rain, Someone who will read poetry to me out loud, Someone who won't be afraid to argue with me, and say he is sorry if he is wrong, Someone who will accept my apology when I am wrong, which will be a lot, Someone who loves and respects his mother and who will be an excellent father and Someone who will hold my hand, even when we're eighty.
My list could go on and forever. Many single men and women are out there trying to find this perfect mate, someone who never has a cloudy day. Those people do not exist.
There is no "ideal" man out there. There is no perfect woman. And I don't want any man who just wants a perfect wife-- someone to cook, clean, do laundry, and look beautiful on his arm at his company Christmas party.
I want a man who is also willing to be a husband. Someone who expects to find imperfections and would have me no other way.
While I'm sure there is no perfect man out there who will meet every piece of criteria I have, there is one who is perfect for me. The thing is, I won't be able to choose. I'll meet him, "The One," and he won't meet just one of those expectations on my list and I'll cross him off my list of options. I'll miss ot.
So maybe it's time to say, "I can't pick... God, you pick!"
He knows better anyway.
