salamat kaau sa reply. may discount man me sa pcx kc 2 suki me dun. ung purpose ko in posting this is to get general opinions on a budget 7k for major parts. amd ung 2 old pc ko, athlonxp pareho at asus board. eh mga luma na yun. needless to say, napag.iwanan na ako ng panahon. hehe.. then aside from that, wla me masyado alam sa mga dual core, if k b intel or mag amd uli. i think il go with the intel e5200 wd an asus board.
by the way, im not a heavy gamer. pero fan me ng cod franchise at farcry, kaya most probably il play farcry2. then mostly, puro racing games lang.

I've actually played Far Cry 2 on a:
Intel E6420 (2.13 Ghz)
2GB DDR2 RAM
7300GT DDR3 VC
80GB SATA

I was only able to play Far Cry 2 with the setup above at low details at a 640x480 resolution.

For the specs I provided and your 3k budget for a VC you can play far cry 2 if you buy a PC HD4650 512ddr2 128bit dvi [ATI] (2,860) or an Inno3D 9500GT 512ddr3 dvi 128bit [Nvidia] (2,810).''

Either of those two would let you play FC2 at least at a resolution of 800x600 or even 1024x768 with low to medium details.

INTEL OPTION:

Intel E5200 = 3,510
2GB DDR2 800 = 1,240
Redfox GF7100P-M7 V-pcie/S/L = 2,270
