I buy TPBs (graphic novels, collected editions), basahon then baligya. Kapoy na apas different stories. Ako na lang basahon summary sa wikipedia.

I used to be an avid comic collector back in the day. (mid 80s to early 90s) Started collecting again around '05-06...

I've been staying in manila for the past 8-9 yrs and have recently returned to the Sugbo with the family...

..a bit disappointed though because I can't seem to locate any comic shop here in Cebu..

Of course, I see a few here and there in Filbar's(SM) and a couple of titles in some mag shop in ayala,
but I was wondering if there still IS a REAL comic shop currently active in the city?

For all of you comic collectors out there, you know what I'm talking about.

The TPBs in Fullybooked are great, no doubt about it. An awesome resource of old,old issues ( SGT. ROCK/HAUNTED TANK,etc..) packed in one solid book but what about the current ones? @#$%. nothing beats comic books IMO.

and yeah..i'm once again, a fanboy.

I don't collect a lot of comics anymore but the ones I really enjoyed were the following:

Kingdom Come
Crisis on Infinite Earths
Infinite Crisis
The Supergirl Arc on Superman/Batman [pencilled by the late Michael Turner]
Hush

That's all I can think of at the moment.

we are planning to have it at RAFI. the rate include meals and snacks but basin we will change venue and will not include meals na para di na kaayo mahal ang reg fee, pero limited seats lng gihapon to make sure na we will have a controlled environment and everybody will learn. just check amazing adventures of the incredible suedemonkey every now and then. updates on this seminar will be posted there. salamat!
