i saw NFSMW the other day,, i must say im not all that impressd with its graphics,,, i mean its awful,,,, if we compare it to the previous version NFS UNDERGROUND,, the graphics was almost real going around the city!

You need a steering wheel in this one cause you can't adjust the sensitivity of the steering.

XPand Rally is probably the best racing game i ever played. with realistic physics and environment. i think i downloaded this game way back oct 2005 or aug 2005, just before i had my broadband. sadly though, i lost my copy.

second would be NFSMW, graphics may not look good, but it still, those cops will keep you busy, especially on heat level 6.

if the makers of Midnight Club 2 would come up with a new game on the pc platform, employing the MC2 gameplay, but with more options for tuning and more realistic graphics, it most probably be the BEST racing game of all.

I've tried my hand on Colin McRae 04, and all I can say is: it is incredibly tough on your first try. The steering, car handling, damage physics, etc., was all too overwhelming for me back then. I was so used to the arcade-style racing of the NFS series, starting with NFS3, NFS:HP2, NFSU, NFSU2, NFSMW, but not NFS5: Porsche Unleashed, now that my friends, is the toughest NFS game ever made .

I eventually got the hang of CMR04 and made it (yay!) after several race restarts. The game kind of grew on me and it fostered my interest in rally racing in general. However, even though I made it through 4WD Normal and Advance, I still couldn't believe how difficult Expert Mode is. You are forced on only one point of view (driver view), the car damage and car control physics gets totally realistic, so realistic in fact it is absolutely discouraging.

If you want realistic racing, go for CMR; arcade racing, go for NFS.
