Reg, even as a Catholic I agree with you, God is the God all in all. But you are referring to a different God, you are talking about an "energy" god. If what "we" believe is true, that God is all in all a God of the whole universe, how come all of the culture depict Him with anthropomorphic attributes? It is way too overrated to say it is symbolical.

Why? Can energy be created nor be destroyed? can the concept of God be created nor be destroyed? The ESSENCE is the same even though they have different terminologies!

I think you need to harness the power of CRITICAL THINKING! Hope you don't take it personally!

Belief is not always grounded on TRUTH! It is just a belief and energy is not grounded on belief but TRUTH! I don;t believe in ENERGY! I KNOW there is ENERGY!

@reg Wow I can't believe you suggested to me the use of critical thinking.

For the record my post revolves around the fact that: god, whoever he is, anthropomorphic or energy, is depicted by all cultures with anthropomorphic attributes, example are the god of Egyptians and Romans and many more.
I am not talking about terminologies, my point is the god's attribute as how man sees it. They depicted him, across all culture with different gods, as someone with human attributes. And yet you say that he is an energy?
There is energy, even grade schools know that, but how can you make sure that god is energy when a diverse bank of cultural and religious sects from thousands of years past up to present depict him with anthropomorphic attributes?

GOD is not even a PERSON. In Theosophy, GOD possess no personality. GOD is a PRINCIPLE and LAW unto itself. ESOTERIC religions don't acknolwedge GOD as Anthropomorphic GOD like your GOD as JEALOUS GOD! That's why I want you to study the ESOTERIC side of religion and not just the EXOTERIC.

When I say CRITICAL THINKING, don't just focus much on your BELIEF SYSTEM but rather try to analyze diferent perspectives for GOD cannot be confined with just a belief but rather with deep study, reflection, meditation and intuittion!

Reg, your post is self contradicting. I don't need to post more, my response is within your post, that's how self-contradictory your post is.
