In philosophy, essence is the attribute or set of attributes that make an object or substance what it fundamentally is, and which it has by necessity, and without which it loses its identity.

Now what is the ESSENCE of religion?

The essense of religion is religion id faith and belief in something which is divine... however the idea of faith and belief mayber the same but there is a difference to whom it is for or dedicated to..

If you say GOD or god, then every religion have a different concept of that divine intity, of which differs from every race and color. maybe yull say the concept of is universal but each religion delieves in a different GOD which is not the thesame as the other

It doesn't matter which GOD for the ESSENCE of GOD is ONE and the SAME regardless of any religion!
