average car: 8-12km per liter pero sa prius kay 21.5718km per liter

What you read in brochures is not what really the car is giving out as a benefit specially if figures ang gi storyahan . MPG and HORSEPOWER are only for marketing purposes to attract the consumers .

We own a 2006 Toyota Prius in the US and the brochure says also na kini mo dagan ug 55 MPG and it is not true but 50 MPG lang estimated since di man nimo pwedi i empty ang tank kay maguba . It is still a fuel saver and you need not to charge or use the battery . The battery is for back up purposes only when you ran out of fuel . Murag alternator pod ni siya , once you hit a certain speed , mo kick na ang use of battery and while driving , gina charge niya ang battery pod .

The PRIUS is pricier for because its not about quantity in size though its roomy than meets the eye but in terms of materials used and technology it packs . It is voice activated , touch screen ang almost anything , back up camera , keyless entry , push button ignition , smart chip na recognizes who rives so kung wala ka sa registered user di siya mo andar , in short di ma carnap unless i tow .

The 3rd generation Prius can park by itself horizontally and vertically but I dont know if that feature is offered for the Philippine market model .

I think dili kaau dako imo ma save sa fuel aning mga hybrids in Philippine setting labina diri Cebu. gamay ra kaau highway.

gamit lang ni sa US...labina sa carpool lane....heheheehehehehe!

based sa amo product presentation ang engine moy back up. once u accelerate hard thats the time ang engine mo start and its starts once mo charge sya. while in idle ang battery lang mo supply ug power. braking also charges the battery.

if new 1.8L engines runs 1L:8Kms, the prius runs doulbe 1L:16Kms based on manila driving.
