Mavericks wil definitely make it to the semifinals, hopefully if walay upset, maybe Clippers ila kontra.

i don't even understand why the Mavs are not getting any respect. Dirk is even the 5th on the all-star balloting, that's just preposterous. watching almost every Mavs game, i've noticed they're just a different team from 2-3 years ago. more athletic, more emphasis on defense and a much better team work. i know they have a lot to prove but "respect" doesn't come easy. this season is their time to shine, Lakers are the team the Mavs should not look past coz they just don't match up well against them. i believe they are capable of downing the Suns (with or without amare), Memphis or even the Spurs (with or without manu).

I think, there is just one thing that could overtake the Mavs' mindset when it comes into the playoffs. Every team has a weak point... so, in the Mavs' case, opponents would likely act to that solution called "slow them down", and i think that realization crosses the mind of every head coach, player, and,of course, the doubters. That's just the idea... so, in order for that to change, the Mavs has to wait until the playoffs to not just look tough against their opponents, but dominate the entire series. For this, they are "indeed" capable of downing the Suns, Memphis and Spurs.

Another comprison to the Mavs' status would likely be, the Los Angeles Clippers, who are considerd as the worst team in the history of basketball ever. And i think, it would be great to see, if possible, the Dallas vs. LAClippers match-up, in the first round. A must win situation for both teams. :mrgreen:

Suns and Mavs would always be regarded as "flukes"/"built for the regular season" teams. until they get to the semi-finals or maybe the NBA Finals, those tags would always haunt them. this year would be a good time to prove their critics wrong ie Sir Charles, Kenny and the rest of the TNT crew and all those doubters (me included).. it's gonna be a daunting task though with San Antonio and Detroit looming in the horizon.

the Suns won again (3rd straight) this time against Denver 116-101. it's a good strong finish heading into the NBA All-Star break.

OT: hey guys i just want to inform you that your fellow phoenix suns fanatic stebnaz23 has just passed away yesterday due to enlargement of his heart!

this is a very sad news but we cant do anything bcoz this is GOD's well....

lets us all pray for the eternal rest of his soul.....AMEN!
