Actually St. Paul University Dumaguete is the oldest St. Paul school and institution in the country founded in 1904 by the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres congregration. There are more than 60 schools and institutions owned the SPC nuns. Dili ni siya connected sa St. Paul school ni Doktora Abugada Lourdes Libres Rosaroso. Ambot ngano gisuhid ang logo sa St. Paul. Ang sister institution sa SPUD diri sa Cebu kay ang Perpetual Succour Hospital nga gi own gihapon sa Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres.
