    Unhappy Turtles

    Hello.
Anyone who can share information about turtles, please help. We have 3 turtles, my brother bought from BioResearch as a gift when I gave birth to my son 8 years ago. They have grown big, already, 12 inches long. They also started to have eggs. But unfortunately, never hatched. They have their own pool, dividedly, water and sand. We dont know anything about turtles.
It's a joy to find eggs but such a pity not to see them hatch.
    Thank you.

it depends on what kind of turtle you have. i'm assuming that is a freshwater turtle, so a clean, moist, soft soil would be the perfect place for a freshwater turtle to lay eggs.

but mao rana siya sinugdanan. excessive heat, cold, moisture, or dryness can kill or deform the embryo, so mag depende ra gyud siya sa kind sa turtle na imo gi-keep.

a picture of your turtle would be very helpful.

if red-eared slider na siya (kanang naai duha ka red spots sa ulo), then i have a couple of online resources na pwede nako ma-share nimo... just go to Redearslider.com :: All about Red Ear Sliders and the Turtle Talk forum if you think your turtle's a red-eared slider...
