here are my thoughts ;

1.for the business to continue to bless other people by providing job, it is imperative it has to survive.

2. in difficult times, it is important to cut on excess overhead...if not it will close down and immediately loss more jobs for people

3. cut excess labor hours, reduce water and electricity expense.

please note i mentioned excess labor hours, i would presume that operations now is over manned since the company they are supplying is down. everyone can share the burden by having to work only from 8 hours a day to let say 3 hours per day. this way everyone still has his job but has to sacrifice for the business to thrive.

items 1-2-3 are the reactive measures,

4. pro active measures ...(increase sales)
check out the competitors of the company they are supplying, basin na a pa untapped market

I agree with jabez.. it is imperative for them to cut expenses..
the best way to avoid downsizing is to lessen working hours.
an alternate schedule of work for employees is one way.
It will lessen their take home pay but it is much better than having no income at all.

They can also ask help from NGO's and the media, advertise for possible sponsors.

currently my paln is yo focus on individual sales...bisan tagsa tagsa ra ang paliton basta gradual...
planning a website is also on the plan..
we improved the brochures already..
consignment with companies in malls is alreday on the process..

but still it has to be trial and error yet....

i think you should put a website, and then call all istoryan bloggers to blog about it, and put a link to the website, that way, mailhan sila globally. also, it is best to write down the exact products they have, with some pics, who knows basin naay gabasa karon who is looking for a specific product, etc.

blogs are very search engine sensitive..asahay if magsearch gani ka sa yahoo or google, blogs ang unang manggawas.

internet is the best way for now. you can also circulate an email about their products and services...point is, they have to be exposed para daghan ang makahibaw.

also, naay daghan kaayong photographers diri sa Istorya..in fact, if im not mistaken, and mga founders sa Istorya are all photography enthusiasts...would you guys be able to spend at least one saturday afternoon to photoshoot the products, and then have Niel post the pics here..para professional tanawon..afterall, its for a greater cause.
