true, sometimes i mistake him as a science professor handling a religion class/theology with some of his approach.

Somewhat true. He said once that he was only a 6.99 atheist out of 7. Because claiming 7 out of 7 atheist would be unscientific

To the theists, Dawkins will seem rude, probably because there is no nice way of saying "I think you're beliefs are ridiculous". Which is what he is actually saying, but the theist chooses to get offended by that. dunno why...

in that search, he found out that many people have ridiculous beliefs..
