I wanna share this poem which I wrote ages ago during my last year in High School. This was a tribute for my Dad which was published in The Freeman in time for the Fathers' Day special...

A Poem for Dad
Beyee

Papa,

We've been through a whole lot
of pains and joys together
and I want this special kind
of bond to last forever.

I know there are times when
I just don't understand you
and you feel the same way, too.

There are times that
I've been such a bad girl
and there you were
not even saying a word.

Now that I've grown up,
I think about the wonderful
life you have given me
inspite of the moments of
happiness and sadness
you stood by me
through all these years.

I know you barely hear me say
I LOVE YOU
but you never know
my heart really shows what's true...
Everywhere I go
memories of you
are all that I think of.

And when I think of
happy moments in school
I always see a vision of you.

I hope through this poem, you'll know
how much you mean to me and
how deep is my love for you.

Don't be afraid
when time comes
that I'll be on my own
for I will always be there
just like old times...

FOREVER... I'LL STAY...

my dad dont where he is ayt now.. for almost 13 years wala nako kita niya.. hehe.. the only thing i can remember nga im with him katong naa mi sa balay ga duwa og family computer.. heheheh

My Dad spent sleepless nights when I was hospitalized for ten days. He cried with me throughout my painful procedures, encouraged me to fight back when I was in my lowest point and he made me smile during my discomfort... I am so lucky to have a Dad like you, Pappy... I love you so much Pa... Happy Father's Day!
