Just an ordinary PCI, but hey a PCI-E runs better than an AGP? How much is it?

cost around 4.5k ~ 7k for a good one and 10k~15k for the best. but for 6k i think you can get an SLI mobo which is the best choice. then get two capable PCI-E gpu and SLI them. :mrgreen: im guessing this rig is going to be a gaming machine. so SLI is the best choice you got for now. :mrgreen: what kind of proc./socket do you have? if you could post your rig spec then maybe i could help you find a good mobo that will suit your needs.

pci-e is not necessarilly twice as fast as the agp... mas nindot lang iyang architecture... pero dili siya pasabot nga twice as fast siya sa 8x nga agp.

take note, nga dili tanang mobo naay pci-e slot and dili sad tanang mobo naay agp slot. ang uban agp ra, ang uban sad pci-e ra. mao na siya ang kasagaran nga saksakan sa imo videocard. since nihit na kaayo ang mga videocard karon nga nagamit sa pci slot.

mga bro, matingala lang ko based on my observation na ako amigo parehas me chipset sa motherbord, processor, video card except nga pci-e iya ang ako agp mas dako man noon ako score sa 3dmark05 ang difference is 200

200 is not big. even if the hardware is identical, what background programs are running and what settings you used affects the benchmark.

To anyone who can help me: I have 2 defective AGP video cards:

1. Inno3d NVidia GeForce4 MX440 64MB
-maka dagan ko sa Windows XP Pro ug run games pero after 20 to 30 minutes, ang display niya mu garbage under any environment.

2. Inno3d NVidia GeForce2 MX400 64MB
-maka dagan ko sa Windows XP Pro, pero pag load (e.g. Counter-Strike 1.5) sa game proper, dili smooth ang graphics
-otot-otot ang dagan nimo sa CS ug na-ay poy mga garbage vertical lines mang gawas
-tried replacing the 3 big capacitor 470microfarad 10V but still the same (cooling fan is working)

Anything I can do to repair these cards? Tabang beh mga fellow bros! Thanx sa pagbasa ninyo aning topic.

gamit ug nvidia driver 66.93, install direct x 9c , tanawa ang fan ug nag toyok ba kay kana nga maga card dali ra maguba ang fan try butang ug oil sa bearing,tang tanga ang fan naay sticker sa loyo makita na ang bearing sa tunga....

ipa-repair ni ruelnov, or ibaligya then buy brand new.
