    no parking is no parking

"Cebu City Towing illegal parking vehicle"
for me sakto baya ang gi buhat sa towing
sa word palang nga illegal parking

pero ang ako a lang pud kung ila i implement.. dapat sa tanan dili lang sa ma tripan ug dakop

My take, if illegal parking, tow dayon.. irregardless kung ga deliver or wala, businessmen should find ways that there vehicles does not impede traffic, public roads are paid by taxes, not by individuals for their own benefit. Implementation of the rules for towing vehicles should be discussed in a different venue. But illegal parking is STILL ILLEGAL PARKING.

one thing I've noticed though is that there is
hardly any legal place to park in cebu city streets.
probably cause if there was then the pay-for-parking
owners would go out of business.

I do support following the rules but these tow
contractors should also follow procedures as
well. instead of towing immediately they should
check first for delivery permit/sticker and wait
... if 5 minutes go by then bye-bye car.

one thing that would help if some sort of wifi system
could be implemented where they could have
access to records. 1st offense = warning which
goes on the record. 2nd offense = ticket.
    3rd = tow away

I'm all out for towing to discipline errant drivers...
but I agree this has gotten way out of hand

Luoy sad ang driver, pero if you think about it, a lot of what we call licensed "professional" drivers don't know how to read and write! So how would they know that there is a no parking sign?

    Default Commission???

Naa ba commission per tow ang traffic enforser and towing personel kuyog sa towing truck Kinsa naa idea if how many vehicles towed everyday per towing truck? How many towing trucks in action everyday?

Let's say 10 vehicles towed per towing truck a day x Php 100 per vehicle commission x 5 Towing Trucks = Php 5,000 a day! x 30 days = Php 150,000 / month x 12 months = Php 1,800,000 x 10 years = Php 18,000,000 !!! Millions of pesos!!! Wow!!!...mag Citom or Towing Pernonel nalang ko...klaro pa naay kuarta!!! hehehe!!! .... joke lang kay wala man koy Php 18 Million! ha ha ha!!!

i had a friend whose car was towed just recently. the towing agent told him, "pay 1,500 fine, or, the other cheaper and easier way". he then asked what's the other way. "500 pesos para nako ok na."...
