but so far, kstars for linux ra ang the best for me..

I took this with a low quality, cheap refractor telescope (sold it already), 2.5 inch aperture. I used ordinary canon A410 (not sure coz i sold that too some time ago) 3.5 megapixel using super macro shot and forced it on the eyepiece coz i didnt have a mount for camera on the telescope.

Thanks guys! I already forgot some of the important info like date and time taken, eyepiece specs (focal points and diameter). Also, my tripod (wooden tripod, in fact) is not one of those automatic ones (or motorized ones?) where it will automatically adjust according to the earth's rotation. So i had to take a quick snap of saturn.

There are many kinds of motorized mounts for a small telescopes. The most common one being an equatorial mount, driven by a small motor called a Motor Drive. This is a Single or dual axis motor drive, with drive corrector capabilities, is designed for mounts to track in Right Ascension and with dual axis, allow movement in Declination as well. It precisely controls the telescope's tracking speed during long, timed exposures of celestial objects, producing the best possible image sharpness. Divemaster has one for his Celestron Astromaster 130. We were going to try it out last May, at Ayala Terraces but ran out of time for tests.
