Mine is the RC. Fast and efficient but was not able to install my ZoneAlarm internet security due to compatability issues. What security are you using?

using bit defender here. rc is pretty fast and the only issue i've had is with my graphics drivers - solved by downloading the installer.

i'm using build 7100...works great...
used AVG 8.5 Free.

yes. i'm using it as my main OS on my laptop. No problems so far, except that i installed the 64bit version and my old deskjet doesnt support 64bit OSes.
Very fast and responsive. Give it a powerful processor and lots of ram and it wouldnt dissapoint. I wonder how it fairs with netbooks though...
I'm using AVG Free along with Windows Defender and Comodo Firewall. Everything's working well. No bluescreens yet.
When I installed it, i was happy that it detected all my drivers. And it even updated the drivers through windows update on the first bootup. But i was dissapointed that it installed Synaptics drivers for my Alps touchpad. And the supposedly updated drivers were not the latest so i had to update manually. These are things that could be improved on.
Overall I am very satisfied with Windows 7. I hope it stays this fast and efficient when it is in the RTM stage.

news from CNET seems to indicate that MS plans to give some discount to existing Vista users who'll upgrade to Windows 7. How true is this?
