It's not purely SCIENCE as HARD SCIENCES like Cognitive and Behaviorism but Transpersonal psychologists see the school as a companion to other schools of psychology that include psychoanalysis, behaviorism, and humanistic psychology.

Whenever? Well, it started during the Humanistic Pscyhology pioneered by Abraham Maslow!

as dawkins said too, there is a different between possibility and probability.there is a possibility that science may explain this but that probability are rather slim. The God Delusion.

using this kind of logic, why not assert that the world is moved by telluric waves, or that Atlantis was an alien city, or that one could actually do astral projection? why not, because these do not belong to science for now - only to idle-speculations and creative imaginations.
