Towing illegal parking caught on CCTV !!!

To whom it may concern:

I am not writing this email against the Cebu City Government with regards to Towing away illegal parked vehicles on the streets for 24/7. In fact, it is a very good thing, one step ahead, that the Cebu City
Government has done something to the public trying to discipline some hard headed drivers that cause traffic disturbance on the streets.

There is a video of the actual towing of an illegal parked vehicle that was captured by CCTV Camera somewhere in Cebu City downtown area just few days ago and was posted in YouTube for public viewing.

As you can see on the video, A delivery vehicle (Multicab), deliver 2 gallons of purified water to their customer near their parked vehicle for about less than 2 minutes, and when the delivery personnel came back, the towing contractor already towed their delivery vehicle.

What have you observed from the video?

1. Did the towing contractor tried to find or call the attention of the driver?
2. Did they use their blinker / warning lights when towing the vehicle?
3. That was a fast tow! Are they after to Discipline the Driver or the Php 1,xxx penalty fined per vehicle towed?

kay nag storya man ta og traffic, simple raman ni nga problema. para dili na magka traffic atoang mga dalan. mas maayo pang ephase out ang mga jeep onya ilisdan og BUS then mag color coding ta ani sa mga sakyanan everyday.

^kung wagtangon ang jeep daghan mawala ug panginabuhi. Kung color coding.. nakatry na bitaw ta before kadto naghimu ug flyover sa ban-tal area. Ga yagaw jud to. no need for color coding in my opinion, since jeepneys prove to be half if not more than half of vehicle population. i support the BUS system. honestly it's the jeepneys that needs to get towed.

Okay raman na ang towing BASTA DONE WITH THE RIGHT PROCEDURE and MOTIVE.

Pulong pang Tomas, gamay ra ang kita sa siyudad kay gipamenos ang towing. PANGWARTA gyud ang tuyo. Ang nakaparat kay sa Towing Fee -15% ra ang para sa siyudad. Kinsa man ang nagpaluyo sa Road Warrior ug One Stop? Kuhaa na intawn Lord woi!

Morag wa man tingali diperensya sa traffic situation - sa nasakit si Tomas ug sa nagmangtas na ang towing.

di pd siguro na mahimo na wagtangon ang jeep bro.. kay daghan jd maapektuhan ani na mga pamilya kay dri gd nila g.kuha ila income.. simple rman kaayo na bro, follow lang gd ta sa rules..

I've been driving Cebu City streets for almost 10 years but still i haven't got any ticket. Why? Simply because I follow the law. Just because i'm a girl i drive slow. No i don't! I'm one of the boys sad when it comes to paugat ug kusog padagan. But i really make sure nga careful jud ko and i read the signs. Kana ang jeepney kung mohunong lang jud sa sakto nga lugar dili man kaayo mutrafic ba. Kita pud mga pasahero dapat makamao pud mubasa sa mga signs kay ang uban mga tao magpataka ug para maski tapad ra sa trafic light.
