I suggest to use a static address (no "automatic" in network settings).

On PROLINK H9000 (maybe similar to H9200), go to click "Virtual Server".
Here you could add your port forwarding.

"Public Port - Start / End" is the service port range of the outside IP (internet connection) while the "Private Port" and "Host IP Address" is your local port and intranet IP address.

When adding ports, to be fool-proof, make Public and Private Ports the same port# for TCP and UDP (so 2 entries per port#).
Just to make my self clear, DHCP with mac address binding can be done.. So still even if you have a DHCP, it will still run.. It actually doesn't mean that if you have DHCP, the client always gets a different ip... There are still options for the DHCP... Nevertheless, you are also right by saying it needs static ip address just to be sure...

for port forwarding, make sure your modem is on bridge mode--if using a router..
if using a modem/router, then identify what port and type you want to forward.

assign a static ip on your computer, below or above the dhcp range of the modem/router or router that you're using.

access the setup page, forward the port to the computer/ip you want to forward..
so when request coming from the wan to your lan, it will forward that port to your computer you want.

what exactly are you trying to attain?
