Bought Asus F80Q in SM at Silicon Valley last 05-18-09 and been using the unit w/o any issues not until this morning when I noticed that my wifi is no longer working. Tried switching BT+WIFI but still no luck. Tried checking from wifi adapter from Device Manager and found out that its missing, only my ethernet device is installed. Tried also scanning for new hardware changes but it wont detect. Tried checking bios setting and hoping that theres a menu for wifi so I could enable it back but there's none. So what I did was to reinstall the OS but still no sign for wifi after installation. Then I brought the unit to the store and had the technician checked the unit and he said that there's a problem with the laptop wifi not the software and he said that it must be shipped to Manila for check up and it will take 2-3 weeks for the repair =<.....
Ive been using the wifi to be connected at home since i bought the unit. May be it was the cause but it should not be like that i mean it suppose to be okay coz its designed to last long.
Well may be its just my luck i guess. I just hope that they can fix it asap and good thing its still has a warranty.
