@guilliam: thanks ....
bro pila ang pinakabarato na mobo na SLI....?
naa ko nakitan nvidia 6600 512 mb 128 bit na 7k ok ra na bro...?![]()
Yup, go for 939 its dual channel.
For a 5k budget you can try MSI K8N NEO4-F (nForce4 4x chipset)
its got most of the features of a high-end board except SLI.
It can even OC decently and its a durable brand too.
OR
try looking up the ASUS A8N5X (nForce4 4x chipset)
not sure how much it costs though, but i think around 5k ra pud!
you can check benchmarks from sites like techreport.com, tomshardware.com or anandtech.com
for performance comparison.
If mag SLI ka mejo mu saka na jd na sa 5k sa akng nahibawan...at least diri sa Cebu.
And if you're even considering SLI try to check the prices of SLI video cards first.
diretso na PCI-E if your planning to buy a new videocard to go with your motherboard.
@Tin_Tin: pila budget nimo for your new setup bro?
Tips: For Gaming Rigs
For FPS games like F.E.A.R, Quake 4, Farcry, X3 and other FPS game then your better off with a better GPU like 6800/7800/x1800..
but if you barely play those FPS games and play more with Strategy games like AOE3, The Sims2, Generals etc. then the least you will need is just a plain 6200 or 6600 series and ofcourse a fast HD like raptor and faster CPU since these games needs raw CPU power unlike FPS games.
For Multi-tasking
The X2, Pentium D or Opteron 165~180 is best for you.. with ofcourse a minimal of 6600GPU card for a bit of gaming.
Since lihit pa kaayo ang mga games supported on dual core platform. i would suggest you get atleast a 3200+ or a 3500+ and overclcok it for more power. not to mention both intel and Amd will be releasing their quadcore cpu's. by that time games might be fully supported to take advantage with the new multi-core cpu's. nya mu barato napud. so the only upgrade you will be needing is the cpu nalang.
ako ra man gi hinayhinayan bro ako lang sa unahon ang proc ug mobo....
ang budget naku sa mobo kay 5k thats why ask ko kung how much ang pinakabarato na mobo na SLI
so maybe i can extend the budget a little bit... if kaya ra...
for a low cost mobo supported ang SLI ako nakit-an is only the Epox 9NPA+SLI around 6k.. wa koy sure sa uban pila.. try calling A.I logic @ 412-6178 or Archtech or PCX.. kung asay barato with Nforce 4 chipset then go for it.
bro if pci-e ang akong video card na nvidia much better ba if i go for an SLI mobo...?![]()
