Amy is indeed one heck of an artist. she is good with her voice and fingers. I like how she showed angst. She speaks with her voice, hands, and songs.
Oh, I like Korn's version better than Evanescence. Heck, we all have our choices anyway, ayt?
nothing beats the original. mas okay man jud tong sa korn pero i'm not into them though. i only like a couple of songs from korn. that song being one of them and my current favorite called twisted transistor.![]()
@ noth_star
haha..i've seen the vid of twisted transistor. it is so dang trippy. hehehe. snoop was there. it's kinda odd to see hip hop artists as rock stars and rock stars as hip hop artist
same here. i don't find the idea of rock mixed with hiphop entertaining. linkin park made some good tunes out of that crossover but it didn't really last long.
@northstar
yeah, good tunes, but it wasn't great as what I expect it to be. speaking of LP and jay z, they won the grammy haha.
i wish evanescence will release their album, "origin". so beautiful.
yeah, i hope they will re-release it, internationally, this time while the new material is not yet out.[br]Date Posted: February 10, 2006, 09:41:11 AM_________________________________________________news:
From Bilboard website:
Rock act Evanescence will release it second Wind-Up album, "The Open Door," on Oct. 3. The set was recorded in Los Angeles earlier this year and produced by Dave Fortman, who was behind the boards for Evanescence's 2003 breakthrough, "Fallen."
That set has sold more than 6.5 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, and spawned two top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, "My Immortal" and "Bring Me To Life."
"The making of this record has been really intense, but I've come out feeling purified," frontwoman Amy Lee says in a statement. "I've grown so much since 'Fallen,' and [guitarist] Terry [Balsamo] is the perfect writing partner -- I feel like I've been lifted up to a whole new level of inspiration and possibilities."
