for visitors and locals, try Poblacion Talisay lechon joints during weekends for breakfast. Inasal and dugo-dugo and the freshest kinilaw and of course puso.

for the less adventurous, there is Abuhan (pochero). For minimal cost, drop by Carlo's Batchoy at mandaue since they open early. for those looking for their chinese fix, go to Snowheen. for the younger/college crowd, the fast food joints are always there, but try the fried food joints along Sanciangko from back of UV to UC area. of course, there are the tapsilogans.

for those who wants to impress, and the pa-sosyal, the best breakfast buffet is at the Marriot. for those on an early morning business meeting, the hungarian sausage with potato soup at Kaffe Vienna is perfect.
