Ah okay. Pwede man siya mag-exercise o mag-gym ba kaha kung dili kaayo siya kampante being in a group of people. Pwede siya mag-jogging. Kinahanglan lang siguro niya og outlet sa urge sa iyang hormones...

I-encourage lang siya nga ma-overcome na niya iya addiction kay basin mao pud na naka-contribute sa deterioration sa iya'ng social life, basin naka-paubos na sa iya'ng self-concept o self-esteem.

I-encourage siya to do something that he can be proud of. Swerte siya kay naa siya'y maayo nga amigo sama nimo.

Isa pud nga makawala sa self-esteem kay ang loss of self-control. Any kind of addiction can decrease one's self-esteem because there's a loss of self-control.

Mao na basin makatabang ang exercise. If your friend can force himself to wake up early every day to exercise, he can regain his sense of self-control and thereby improve his self-esteem. Encourage him to try that as an experiment for at least 1 week and see what happens.
