i am disgusted of insecure, homophobic, brainless, thoughtless, straight people. you think you're righteous cos you're not gay, how dare you?! if you don't accept gay people, then i, as part of that community do not accept you as well. you can't even write in correct grammar and spelling.Originally Posted by lestat1116

Seems like everybody is jumping in the bandwagon with this gay-cowboy film. Marlboro is just one of the few.. by sponsoring some of the film posters.

Let he who has no fault be the first to cast the stone....
Hehe. This has turned into a "debate" on homosexuality when it's supposed to be about Brokeback Mountain. Take that to another topic on another thread.
Live and let live guys, minus the insults.
If you're disgusted with gays, I'm sure they too are disgusted with people like you. But you don't hear them calling you maggots. Even though that word would clearly define some of you.. or some parts of you anyway.
Back to Brokeback... I watched an interview with Ang Lee the other night. Apparently BM is making the waves and it's getting to be more than just "that gay cowboy film". People are actually learning to overlook the fact that the main characters are gay and concentrating on the love story between them. Come on, everyone can relate to that. Love's universal after all.
And by the way, somehow I find it easier to picture Jake G. and Heath L. as gays rather than smokers....

 Re: Brokeback Mountain
why is there so much hate about this? i don't get the reason why. why can't just people f*** off!? i'm so sick and tired of some mediocre, shallow, straight people. this is supposed to be a thread about the movie, not about gay people. if you don't have respect, then i don't have respect for you too. don't court my ire cos i am as vile as hydrochloric acid.
if you don't like the movie, stay away.
if you hate homosexuals, stay away. (this place does not need uneducated homophobes)
if you have a small brain, educate yourself and don't show how ignorant you are.
if you have seen the movie, found it boring or hated it, fine, i respect that.
if you have not seen the movie and don't want to watch it, fine, i respect that.
if you have not seen the movie and hate the fact that it involves a love between two men, have a life.
if you can't stand us gay people, we can't stand you either.
if you are indoctrinated with archaic principles, i pity you. you shouldn't be living in 2006.
if you have nothing relevant or nothing to share about the movie, stay away. don't try to be funny cos you're not.
if you are so full of yourself because you are straight, go ahead, wallow in your pathetic state!
