Zipidee Cable Internet by Sky Cable --- any info on this?

Cable is shared amongst users ... yes. But we have so much bandwidth in many parts of the US ... that that is irrelevant. The highest speeds where I live is currently only attainable with cable. There is no fiber service where I live so that isn't an option. With DOCSIS3, fiber doesn't really have an edge over cable.

Cable on the high end is definitely faster and can push more bandwidth than DSL. The problem I see with Sky is their network blows and their cable technology sucks.

Well said. I myself had sky internet twice, and terminated it twice. Their max bandwidth was 2mbps, from which I got 300-500kbps... unbelievable...

well para sa ako mas ok jud ang cable internet as compared to dsl. based ra pud na sa akong experience in manila. my isp was destiny cable internet. ok man sya. paspas jud. then nagkaproblema lang node sa amo condo mao toh i switched to pldt mydsl. gradbe kahinay jud. mas ok pa ang destiny as compared sa sky cable internet. i hope naa nasad na sa cebu ui. i have heard naa naman daw destiny diri cebu but very limited coverage areas. i hope destiny will expand fast!
