Horror Games for girls, I'd recommend Fatal Frame/Project Zero.
Most wii games from puzzle to sports since it's interactive.
Most puzzles games on PC. I'd recommend the newest or latest games like World of Goo, Plants Vs. Zombies, etc. or just the highest rated puzzle games.
Rhythm based games on all platforms.
Barbie series for kids.
But if the lady is a hardcore gamer, I'd recommend all the available games from action adventure to RPG genres to choose from since we don't know what type of games she play. Some like RPG usually though, some liked just simple games. In the end, it all depends on the person.
