can anybody tell me the cheapest way to get to camiguin and hw to get there as well...tnx
i don't think there's a flight direct to camiguin, not sure if there's a boat ride either. most of the time, you have to stop in cagayan de oro first.
i used to go to camiguin before when i was in college...it was easy to get to the place and i was like four hours away...but if youÂ* travel from cebu to camiguin, i think you have to take a boat. there is no way that you can take a plane going there, unless if you have a private plane...hehehehÂ* from cebu, you have to take a ship going to cagayan de oro. when you reach CDO, you have to take a bus or jeepney going to BALINGOAN.. if you decide to take a bus, a provincial bus, you have to take a bus bound for BUTUAN. just inform the conductor that you just drop at BALINGOAN. the travel usually takes at least an hour.. it's a known place for all passengers and drivers..when you reach BALINGOAN, you can a barge or a ferry boat going to camiguin..most of the trips are bound for catarman, binone, or mambajao... i think i have givenÂ* you the itinerary for your trip to that paradise...hope you enjoy your journey to that island...gud luck!Â*![]()
any recommendations (things NOT to miss) when i finally get there? what's the shortest ferry boat ride (to catarman, binone, or to mambajao)?![]()
thnx for all you info
just want to clarify something
I've head that there is a super ferry shuttle 7 boat going from cebu to camiguin direct
do you know how much the far is?
hope someone can tell me as well where we can stay in camiguin

just last year it cost me approx..1k back and forth nana cya...if with meals kay 900 nya one-way...and we stayed in Ardent hot spring kay they offer cheaper rates..especially if group mo..dako kaau ilang family room with 8 bed spaces then we paid 250 per person lang..i dunno now...Originally Posted by kulit_bunny
How to go to Camiguin:
By Boat:
Cebu-Camiguin: Shuttle Ferry 7, Pier 8, NRA, Mandaue City. Leaves Cebu-Camiguin at 8PM every Friday. It will an overnight trip that usually arrives Camiguin around 7AM barring any delays. It leaves Camiguin for Cebu Sunday 8PM. Fare is around P600 for Economy and around P750 for Tourist.
Cebu-Cagayan: 3 shipping lines ply the Cebu-CDO route every night. Frrom CDO pier, a short ride to the Agora Bus Terminal, then take a bus ride to Balingoan (Butuan or Gingoog routes), and a Ferry ride to Camiguin (Guinsiliban or Benone).
By Plane:
There's a commercial flight available i think 3x a week for Camiguin, a few seater small plane, don't know how much is the fare though.
Here's a very useful link for Camiguin that I can find on the net.
