Also I want to manage my own finances personally than giving to strangers, like mutual fund, and just sit in a corner and see the results after 2o years or more if they doing right or they failed.

At tender age of 17 it came to my curiosity why few became wealthy and others did not. Since then I started to investigate and research by reading books in national bookstore for free just to learn how money is manage. Until such a time that I gave up my college just to give way and put into actions what I read.

I love math and physics, that’s the reason why I don’t get easily attracted just by saying something I need proofs and solutions. Until now I’m continuously studying by my own coz I know time is always changing as time change rules also change. Rules of everything are changing. As the technologies simplified everything as the system become more complex, that is my belief.

In my next post I state some points why I’m against in old rules of money as kiyosaki said.

My friend you can't harbor wealth in just one night, it needs time ,consistency and discipline to develop wealth. I know how young people are too idealistic. But you must face the real world. Don't get yourself too rush, be patient and coachable. I know many people out there want a rush wealth but ending up nothing. This is just a piece of advice.

Before you harbor wealth, first thing to do is to increase your wisdom and be coachable and patient.

A bit OT maybe but I think this is a serious call for us Pinoys who has the "save for the rainy days" mentality
I'm sorry to disagree with you and young investor on this. "Save for the rainy days" mentality is still one of the best mentality that people should apply.

"In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, a foolish man devours all he has" - Proverbs 21:20 (Wise people save, Fools spend all they have)

What we usually do when emergencies come is borrow money... but then,

"The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender" - proverbs 22:7

something is wrong with that mindset.

    Save money for emergencies,
    Save money for retirement,
    Save money for your health,
    Save money to invest,
Save money to pay for debts,
Save money to buy things (rather than borrow),

The parable of the talents talk about investing and saving. The story of Joseph the Dreamer talks about saving for rainy days.

I don't know about you guys, but the principles given in the Bible are timeless and universal. It was effective back then, it is still effective now.

We are trying to impart these principles to the people we talk to, to our trainees, to our clients, to all those who need this.

    @young investor:

Regarding diversification, a particular passage in the Bible does talk about diversification.

"Divide your portion to seven, or even to eight, for you do not know what misfortune may occur on the earth." - Ecclesiastes 11:2

Spreading your investments lowers it's risk. Since you are so concerned about risk, you better diversify your investments.

Yes, this is true, mas maayo I diversify jud. Kay kung lugi ang usa, at least ang uban mu gain. "Ininsik na style ba". Dinaghanay, kung lugi ang usa, at least naay ni gain usa.

    amen to neil11.

"One day of investing is better than 1 year of reading books on how to invest".

Books are good no doubt, but mentors are better. They have experience.
