chill lang ta..hehe
misleading title.
AT&T denies that it has swayed votes, but the act of power texting itself did indeed happen.
i just found out that anybody with an AT&T phone can actually do this (i'm not an AT&T subscriber). the way to do it is you punch in several contacts and put them into one group---then send one text message to that group so everybody in that group receives it.
fairly easy to do.![]()
Sa Gizmo sauna naa sad power voting. I used Gizmo to vote for Anoop sauna pero wa ko ni gamit kay complicated ra ang set up. Basin some fans used it pud.
^Katong nag vote ko ni Anoop sauna, dili mi pwede sa text votes. Tawag ra to amu using Globe or Smart sim i dial ra namu ang 1866 number, tapos mu tubag daun tong operator nga "Thanks for voting for contestant number 1. Watch American Idol *i mention sa operator ang sked diha (US) sa AI*". Memorize jd nako sah.
I voted through Gizmo and my Globe sim sauna. Left and right gud toh 2 hours straight.Hayyy missing those times already.

Then this must explain how Arkansas, a state with only 2.8M people (men, women and children) put in 38M of the nearly 100M votes cast (AT&T supposedly confirmed that number, according to an Arkansas legislator); how a state that is ranked 39th in population put in nearly 40% of the total number of votes.
Of course AT&T will deny the voting was skewed, and will keep doing so til the cows come home.
Anyway, winner na ang duha. Kris and Adam are going to sell a lot of records. Adam could potentially be the best-selling runner-up in Idol history. Sakto gyud to ang gikanta sa duha sa finale, "We Are The Champions."

Kanya-kanyang tikas ra man na...
adam-lambert.org also has detailed instructions on power voting. So perhaps it wasn't like Kris had an unfair advantage...
