yup im talking to you. so, is it only me and you or there are others? just curious. btw, what's the difference between dose pares and the balintawak system?
The Dacayana System has roots in San Miguel Eskrima (Doce Pares), and the difference between it and Villasin Balintawak is both in movement like Balintawak has things from Boxing (bob and weaving), the footwork is different and also the way a student learn Balintawak is different since it has a lot of one-on-one lessons and a lot of "the play" (Sparring), which keeps the quality of each student up......

There is also a lot of patterns and forms in the Dacayana System and Doce Pares, where Balintawak always has more aliveness like you see in this video:

thanks for the enlightenment about the dacayana & san miguel system. i saw the interview with nick elizar and he learned with the balintawak system. but i also saw him with the doce pares people. just curious again.

Yes, but the way GM. Nick Elizar does Balintawak and GM. John Villasin does Balintawak is different from each other.....
Villasin Balintawak (GM. John's style) has more footwork, moving around and many more combinations compare to many other Balintawak styles you will see.....
