You gain knowledge with education but it does not guarantee your future.

The problem here in our country is the way we think about education. People tend to go for a degree not for the urge to learn but rather for employment purposes.

it certainly made me stop work.. joke..

education makes you a person worthy of respect.

Education in its broadest sense is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character, or physical ability of an individual (e.g., the consciousness of an infant is educated by its environment through its interaction with its environment); and in its technical sense education is the process by which society deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, values, and skills from one generation to another through institutions.[1] Teachers in such institutions direct the education of students and might draw on many subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, science and history. This technical process is sometimes called schooling when referring to the compulsory education of youth. For example, Samuel Bowles [2] and Herbert Gintis, [3] Teachers in specialized professions such as astrophysics, law, or zoology may teach only a certain subject, usually as professors at institutions of higher learning. There is also instruction in fields for those who want specific vocational skills, such as those required to be a pilot. In addition there is an array of education possible at the informal level, e.g., at museums and libraries, with the Internet, and in life experience.

OMG! education does not necessarily mean making money! It's a different thing...

Being an educated one is not to be ignorant of what's happening in our environment. Also, it's not necessary that you have to go to school to acquire it, especially right now, we are already in the information age.

And in jobs, it is not the education that they want from you, it is the skills that you have acquired. For now, you are required to study for your credentials, a formal education I mean. I say "for now" because you may not know, in the future, you don't have to work in companies to earn money, you just do business and other things! And that's happening already in many part of the US, and the working class are afraid of their pensions when they get old and retiring...and a lot of things are happening that we don't know in the economy...

If your contented on your current job, it's OK but how about if you want a much higher salary? do you think sticking on one's job may prosper your status? I think NO...

Education is must... Education is a pre-requisite in getting a stable job. Try to apply (example) in Ship Design Company wherein these company may requires an engineering graduate, how could you compete nowadays to an engineering graduate if you had not finished any engineering course?

Ok... there's a saying that "Walay nadatu sa Eskwela"..... answer is YES... Yes if you don't use your mentality skills...

This generation, try to conduct a survey and search for a higher rank in a company, and try to ask them kung graduate ba sila ug college! diba makahibalo ta nga graduate diay ug ila gigamit ila education to get that position...

Poverty is not a barrier to achieve one's goal and success in life? Pwede man mag-working student at the same time mag skuling para makahuman.... dibah?

OT: dinhi lang kutob kay OUT nako. hehehehehe

preparation is a process, a process one has to be very clear and specific about what he is she really wanting to achieve out of that plan. diskarte na na sa usa ka tao giunsa niya pagprepare.. iya sad na if hina cya sa diskarte mo palpak gyud!

now let me ask you this, would someone create a house or a building w/o a plan or a blue print what will happen?

let me tell u pod ehhe.. tanan bah nga nag plano.. n success?? or na hitabo jud ang ilang plano??
