i think i'll be going for surefire.. the brand is a household name. and a lot is recommending me to get surefire. built to last long jud daw. i'll be using this for a long time man gud mao kailangan jud kog lig-on and layo sad ug throw kay perting haboga sa mga idro nya putot kaayo ko..

make sure na u get a led model.. price range sa led surefire models in alpha source is around 3.5k (G2 Led) to around 9k-10k++..

ang led man gud is future proof, if another light module from CREE or other led manufacturers comes out, you can just change your current led to the newer version.. also, compared to incans (de bumbilya), mas tipid siya sa battery.. and shockproof siya, meaning if matagak siya walay mabuak na bildo compared to incans.

I would recommend surefire, too, pero to be honest any light with a decent led module (like what sir hoopster is selling, CREE led lights) is good..

Better yet, if naa ka way to order stuff online (ebay, etc), mas daghan imo choices. try looking at brands like Nitecore, Jetbeam, Fenix.. with these brands comes the option to use other battery types and rechargeables. ang surefire man gud can only use CR123 batts, not necessarily the surefire branded batts, any CR123 will do, and buying batts for it will cost you a lot in the long run, especially if you use your light often. Also, surefire lights cannot use rechargeables, since most rechargeable CR123 batts come with a 3.7 voltage, and surefire lights have a 3V rating man lang (for their single battery models).. There are workarounds too if you decide to use rechargeable battery sa surefire, but most probably kelangan pa nimo i.order online ang specific batts na mo.work ani..

However, don't be turned off sa surefire just because of the battery thing, they really are great lights..

okie...pero basi dugay pa sis mga end june pa guro. lisud man gud kung pa ship and what if di pako ka uyon..but hopefully ok ni nga torchlight. cant wait to see it.

@eight_668: if ur looking for the right flashlight or torchlight nga powerful unya sulit jud, I suggest you get from hoopster. I can attest to this kay mao ni gigamit sa amigo nako nga pulis, pwerte jud hayaga. We even tested and compared this with a motorcycle using HID(High Intensity Discharge) bulbs, masapawan lang gihapon, unya low batt na gani to. Gamit ni sa pulis sa mga checkpoints, especially sa mga vehicles with bright headlights kung ila parahon. I'm an airsofter, I use torches on my guns(china made taclites, surefire & led lenser) I was very amazed when I tried one myself. Pwerte jud hayaga. Hope this helps...
