Just because you experienced something you felt was extraordinary doesn't mean that it is indeed extraordinary.
I've sighted a lot of "unidentified flying objects" since my elementary years, and, armed with a good pair of binoculars, their being "unidentified" kay mo last lang ug 5 minutes on the average...why? Because it's easy to see what they were, and easy to explain why I saw them as such. For instance, one was just a large piece of cellophane that was being blown around by the wind, high up in the sky...the setting sun lit it up so murag ga-glow siya. The reason it "hovered" over the area because of thermal updrafts.
The more you know how things work, the lesser mysteries the world contains, and the lesser chances of you being FOOLED into thinking you saw something extraordinary. Be vigilant, be observant, be wise.
