i've seen a lot of situations nga similar ani wui, especially anang mga gbuya, the couple would get married becuase it is their parents of both sides for the child to get married, ang reason, para mulambo ang business nila. I'm pretty sure some of the people here have heard the line from your parents w/c is something like this..."pagtarong jud ug skwela dong, ayaw sa anang mga chicks, kay if makatrabaho naka, and daghan naka kwarta, maglinya jud na ang mga chix dra nimo".... and how many times have we seen some pinay getting married w/ a foriegner,esp kanang mga "old" men, we can never tell kung love jud ang ningibabaw sa relationship, coz we can say that maybe gpatulan sa bae ang tigulang coz of the fact that life would be much easier that way.
