even living things that regenerates by itself cannot survive perpetuity.

    perpetual actually has no end.......

kung makaInvent mu ug intuitive robot nga makaLearn saon pag
fix iyang self ug makaMass produce sa iya kaugalingon..

    then maybe that's perpetual... ^^

Perpetual means forever. A thousand years is definitely NOT forever.

well, the only invention or discovery i know that is perpetual is time. Not an object that we can touch, though..

time is neither a discovery nor invention.....

Nothing lasts forever... Therefore nothing IS perpetual...

Not even light, time or energy...

Perpetual is ABSOLUTE. Nothing is ABSOLUTE.

nice idea, but we are in the age of disposable economy and consumerist values.

besides, everything will eventually deteriorate. and with rapid technological changes, something becomes obsolete even before it totally deteriorates. example, until now naa pay mga floppy disks nga pwede pa unta magamit, pero impractical na gamiton kay mas convenient ang usb drives etc.

tinuod naay mga secret technologies ang us gov't. some things we commonly use today were once used exclusively for the us defense agencies. i wouldn't bother whining about that.

at the quantum level there is no friction.

superconductivity is one example of a perpetual device.
