    Default Mythical beings? about fairies

hi all, was just wondering about fairies (engkantada in our language i think)... is it true once makagusto sa imoha ang engkantada you will get sick and eventually die (unless i-save ka by sacrificing something)... because just recently husband sa friend sa ako ate (let's call her Mary) felt really ill... na coma sya and eventually namatay sya (around more than a week ago lang) but before he passed away, ila gipa tanaw ug albulario ba nah and the guy said naa daw engkantada nakagusto sa iyaha that's why nagkasakit sya. Mary's father believes in this kind of stuff mao gipa tanaw nila albulario.....

my mom told me this and also she said it happened to someone she knew pud (though that person was saved kay nag sacrifice sila something)...

any inputs guys? is this true/believable?

Honestly, they may truly exist or maybe not...chances are.

It's just people who lacks faith to God(devout Catholics/Christians) or who lacks of lacking faith(hardcore atheist).

Fairies do originate from Celtic Spirituality!

Fairies are generally described as human in appearance and having magical powers.

One popular belief was that they were the dead, or some subclass of the dead.

Another view held that the fairies were an intelligent species, distinct from humans and angels.

A third belief held that they were a class of "demoted" angels.

A fourth belief was the fairies were devils entirely.

A less-common belief was that the fairies were actually humans; one folktale recounts how a woman had hidden some of her children from God, and then looked for them in vain, because they had become the hidden people, the fairies.
