this topic is for the general population of muted members, because i believe there is a slight misunderstanding regarding this rule.
what i would like to emphasize here is that when you are muted it means you are grounded, suspended, put on hold, detained, isolated or temporarily paralized.
the logic behind muting a member is to deny him the privilege to post because he/she has done something which is worth the penalty given.
in my example above, if you are suspended for three days by your teacher for misconduct in the classroom, it means you ought to go home and come back to school after three days instead of wearing a mask over your face and attending classes during the suspension period.
what's the purpose of muting if you're going to post under a different account?
what are you going to do afterwards, go back to the original account when the mute has been lifted and scrap the other one?
well, maybe unless you were muted for a month that might force you to create a new account since you can't live for long without istorya.
