No they do not have emotions.
Pure soul is in energy form.
Energy does not think of feel.
But, it could contain one or two residual emotions.
If the spirit (or ghost) died with anger it may manifest itself as an angry ghost,
but it was just "left over"- emotions. No stimuli needed.

If souls are still attached with the emotional body then those souls could be haunted by their past memories or impressions. In SANSKRIT this is called SAMSKARA!
