If all the rest of the IT grads or the so called talented undergrads are that globally competitive then a small puny nursing grad competitor won't hurt, would it? Professionalism doesn't stop after graduation or even after board exam, therefore learning other stuff that is not related to your field of expertise is a plus.

Better a grad than an undergrad. The question is... Is he/she worthy of the job? Its not much of an argument but its worth the teaser.
you got a point. it's better grad than undergrad. because if you're a grad one, noone can take that out or away from you. value education well. go for the GOLD....

mam, grabeha sad nimo. I'm an undergrad. And so are (I believe) a number of storya.net members.

Better a "grad"? I mean sure, being a grad is definitely better. You worry no more of classes, exams, projects, thesis, and all that stuff, because, you are a graduate.
But you're not looking at things the"undergrad" pov. A lot of students cannot proceed with their studies due to financial reasons. And even though they are not exactly qualified (as call center agents), they still venture into the world of BPO to pay for school fees, bills and it brings food to their table. And, of course, we can't forget the social climbers, the wanna bes though with poor performance, still making their way to the top.

Lucky you. Maybe you got all the money you need to finish such a costly degree or college.

I understand that it's hard to get a job that is in line with your profession. But I just have this thing about educ grads who have given up their profession for the love of the GREEN life (money). Oh well, it has always been their choice.

Are they not aware that our country needs more teachers?

    hahaha... ana diay na?

anyways.. its a good thing to be a graduate.. but others cant do so because of the lack of money (i guess that is what trisk68 would like to say.
still i find people more interesting if they work while studying... and i have friends at qualfon too who are doing so. thumbs up for those people. they know who they are. hehe.
