1. kahibalo ba kamo basi sa akong nasayran nga si casinio, escudero, cayetano ug uban pang bantugang mga ni agi pagka kongresista walay napasar nga balaud sa kongreso? o kung naa man gani maihap lang.....

2. kadaghanan sa mga kongresista igo lang sa pagbutar sa ideya sa uban diha sa kongreso unya ang panalapi sa atong gobyerno ra ang giapas.....

3. sa kadaghang maayong laki nga kongresista wala gyud bisan usa nga nangusog pag tangtang sa maong gatasan.

How many times have we hailed new blood as new hope for Philippine politics? Guys like Ace Barbers, Miguel Zubiri and Michael Defensor were once upon a time looked upon as non-trapos. Look at them now.

The sad reality, ladies and gentlemen, is that an individual cannot change politics. Politics will change the individual. What is the definition of the young turks in politics? Answer: Trapo-In-Waiting.

Will Manny be any different? What will he do when his money runs out? To many of us hundreds of millions may seem like a lot, but with so many hangers-on and an extravagant lifestyle to finance, it is finite. Mahurot ra pud na. Unless he invests his money wisely--and the hangers-on are going to make sure he gets screwed--it is conceivable that Congressman or Senator Pacquiao will someday need every centavo of his pork barrel.

By then, it may be too late for him to go back to boxing.

Manny has a lifetime contract with Nike and San Miguel, no worries kung mahurot ang iya savings karon.... dili sad ko motuo nga ing-ana ka bugo si manny nga iya hutdon iya kwarta ug hatag. ang ako ra nakita is his sincerity to serve...... if ever man gani matakdan siya sa mga trapos maybe makaikyas siya diri sa yuta pero adto siya manubag sa labawng makagagahom..... the thing is give him a chance.... cge nata hatag chance anang mga congressman karon nga walay nahimo.... if ever wala gyud siyay mahimo then dili na cya i re-elect.... nanginahanglan ang atong nasud karon ug leader nga sincere ug walay self interest and for me Manny is the right guy, he has the media's support, he can stand on his own..... naa pay chance atong nasud my friend, believe lang usahay ta gud basin pa diay..... pildi na btaw ta pirmi.... deduction dayon tax ato sweldo kada buwan....

IMO, if Pacquiao will run for office (anytime), he will just be manipulated by his advisors. Though Pacquiao is a generous and a man in good will, i fear that it will change if another environment is introduced to him..what you think?ü

If he's going to retire in boxing...He must choose an alternative career to work, play and master with, a career that full of challenges that make him busy, perhaps politician or a public servant, or else, just like the other legendary boxers, he might fall in to the pit of misery (see BBC:Life after boxing).

if i am manny pacquiao why do i have to work if i have 100m pesos or more? manny pacquio si not your average boxer who just earn thousands... he earns millions... i think for manny to do when he will retire from boxing is to live a normal life and take care of his family... nothing more... nothing less...

I have nothing against Manny Pacquiao. In fact, I include myself as one of the millions of people who are thanking him for everything that he has brought to our country. He is truly a Filipino icon. But, nevertheless I still believe that Manny is better off as an athlete not as a congressman. Success in the ring does not necessarily translate into success triumph in the political arena.

Congress is too much for Pacman at the moment. No, I am not underestimating Pacman, but lawmaking is a difficult profession and one needs to have at least basic knowledge of our laws in order to be a competent congressman. Pacman does not have that to his resume. Therefore, it will be hard for him to adjust to this job if ever he wins.
