I used to believe SpyBot was pretty good for a free product, but definition updates seem to be a long time coming in between nowadays. Even Lavasoft Ad-Aware can find more spyware now.

But if you want an antispyware antivirus combo that's really light on resources, you should check out VIPRE.

It's really light on resources, even lighter than NOD 32.

Both work great with my PC.

What is nice with Avira (AntiVar) is that it is updated everyday. With the Spybot, you have to manually update is once a week.

Before I was using Free AVG 8.5 but when I tried Free Avira, I think it works better than AVG.
