ok, it is not impossible that we have other universes but parallel universes? I cannot swallow that part! Coz when you talk about parallel universes I'd imagine something like sliders unless you meant something entirely different.
^^ parallel universes/dimensions are possible according to M theory.

talk2x naman mo ug physics diha.. i-explain pud in layman's terms..![]()
isnt this suppose to be in teh science thread, that is, if we still consider quantum theory as legitimate scientific theory ? just wondering.
mere "thought waves" -meaning naay consciousness ang quantum particle? dli bana bohmian theory of QM? or is this implying that as long as God thinks then we exist?
we can travel from here to an "infinite" distance thru teleportation. weird cuz according to current view your original self is destroyed when you teleport. so when you get to your destination - you simply are just the copy or "clone" of yourself. teleport a million times and you waste a lot of copies of yourself. then to the topic of parallel universes. unless of course you were just destroying a copy of yourself in a different time.
[F-theory has more than one time dimension.]
Einstein in his nobel prize award winning work photoelectric effect showed that light is particle. (photons) later de Broglie shows that a particle has a corresponding wave. (he also won the nobel prize for this) these shows that particles are waves and waves are particles but one could not use both state simultaneously.
Could we therefore consider consciousness as a wave function? perhaps, if we could define what consciousness is in the first place because consciousness is debated in cognitive science and it is not equal to brain waves. One could actually register brain waves but not necessarily conscious, and the problem of consciousness is that other minds could never knows "what-it-is-like-to-be" an other mind, human or not, organic or computer. (consciousness maybe constituted as a quanta but not that quanta are constituted by consciousness)
the problem of consciousness is more speculative than empirical. it is a problem in cognitive scientists for now, while the problem of "as long as God thinks then we exists" is an assertion in Classical Metaphysics, that existence halts when God stops to "think."
