And hey, a person don't really NEED a 'God' to be feared in order to do good things...Well, I am a fool if I say such mind-set would not help a person do good things (I can even say the concept behind religion is rather brilliant)...But is it really necessary? And to borrow the religious' jargon, does the good deed "comes from the heart" so to speak?...

there us no such guy as subject B, there is only a subject A and subject A + religion. don't be baised on your example just so you can have grounds for you explanation. Even me, I am a devout Catholic, I pray to God and ask for His help in every plans I have, but I don't just sit there and pray, I take actions because that is what He taught us.

So again, there is no such guy as Subject B.
